Product overview
About Stugeron 15
The travel sickness tablet pharmacists reach for: cinnarizine 15mg, clinically effective at preventing motion sickness on boats, planes, coaches and cars. Taken two hours before setting off, it keeps the nausea from starting rather than chasing it once it has. Suitable from age 5, 15 tablets — the travel pack.
How cinnarizine works
Motion sickness happens when the balance organs in the inner ear and the eyes disagree. Cinnarizine damps the signals from the inner ear so the brain stops sounding the alarm — which is why it works best already in your system before the motion begins, and why it also helps with the dizziness of other balance problems.
How to take
Adults and children over 12: two tablets two hours before travel, then one tablet every eight hours during the journey if needed. Children 5–12: half the adult dose. Best taken after food.
Good to know
It can cause drowsiness — fine for a passenger, not for the driver. Ask a pharmacist first in pregnancy, breastfeeding, or with Parkinson's, glaucoma, prostate or liver problems. The questionnaire covers these, and a pharmacist reviews each order.

Frequently asked questions
When should I take Stugeron?
Two tablets two hours before the journey starts, then one every eight hours during travel if needed. It prevents sickness — it won't do much once you're already ill.
Can children take it?
Yes from age 5, at half the adult dose. Under-5s need a pharmacist's advice on alternatives.
Will it make me drowsy?
It can — fine for passengers, but drivers should choose a non-drowsy option. Avoid alcohol on the journey.
