What codeine adds, and what it costs

Codeine works on the pain signal itself, one step up from paracetamol alone — which is why it's reserved for when standard painkillers have failed, and why the pack says 3 days only: codeine can cause addiction in under a week of regular use. The soluble format simply gets it absorbed faster.

How to take

Adults and children 12+: dissolve in water, per the pack, for a maximum of 3 days. Never alongside any other paracetamol product.

Good to know
