Product overview

About Nuromol

Two painkillers, one tablet: Nuromol combines ibuprofen 200mg and paracetamol 500mg for double-action relief that trials show beats either alone. It works on inflammation and on the pain signal at the same time — for backache, dental pain, period pain, headaches and the aches of colds and flu. Adults 18+, 24 tablets.

Why the combination

Ibuprofen and paracetamol work by different routes, and pharmacists have long suggested alternating them. Nuromol puts a full dose of each in one tablet so there's nothing to schedule, and the pairing gives stronger relief than a double dose of either — without an opioid. It's the step up before codeine-containing products.

How to take

Adults 18 and over: one tablet up to three times a day with water, with or after food; the pack directs when two may be taken. Leave at least six hours between doses and don't exceed the daily maximum. Not for more than three days without advice.

Good to know

It carries the rules of both ingredients: no other paracetamol products alongside, and ibuprofen's cautions on stomach ulcers, asthma, kidney and heart problems — the questionnaire walks through them. Not for under-18s, and ask a pharmacist first in pregnancy.
