Evaporative dry eye, explained
The tear film has three layers, and the oily outer one comes from tiny glands in the eyelid margins. When those glands underperform — which is extremely common — tears evaporate too fast and the eye feels dry no matter how much it waters. Restoring the lipid layer treats the actual mechanism rather than just topping up fluid.
How to use
Shake well before use, then apply one or two drops into the affected eye as needed. Blink gently to spread the drop across the eye surface.
Good to know
