How to take

Adults, the elderly and children over 12: one tablet at night, swallowed with water. It typically works in 8–12 hours. Usually two or three doses across a week are enough — don't use it for more than a week without advice.

Good to know

Senna does not help with weight loss and overuse can be harmful — the pack says both in plain words. Constipation that keeps returning is a fibre, fluids and medicines-review conversation; persistent change in bowel habit, pain or bleeding needs a GP.
