Product overview

About Olbas for Children

The gentler Olbas for little noses: the same pure plant oils in a children's blend, whose vapour eases a blocked nose so a snuffly baby or child can feed and sleep. Nothing goes on the skin or up the nose; a drop on a tissue near the cot does the work. For babies and children from 3 months. 12ml dropper bottle.

Why an inhalant for babies

Decongestant medicines aren't licensed for babies and vapour rubs can't go on very young skin, so inhaled vapour and saline are the two tools that are. Olbas for Children delivers the vapour without contact, which makes it usable from 3 months, and it pairs well with a saline nasal spray before feeds.

How to use

Babies 3 months to 2 years: one drop on a tissue held near the nose, or placed near (not in) the cot. Children over 2: two drops on a tissue, or a few drops in a bowl of hot water for steam with an adult holding it. Can be repeated through the day and at bedtime.

Good to know

Never on the skin, bedding or pillow, and never in the nose or mouth. Not for babies under 3 months. If a baby is struggling to feed or breathe, or has a fever, see a GP or call 111. See our children's cough and cold range.
