Product overview

About NeilMed NasaMist

A sterile, preservative-free saline mist with a nozzle designed for babies and children: NasaMist is pH-balanced and buffered with a little sodium bicarbonate so it doesn't sting, and it cleans, moisturises and soothes delicate nasal passages without any drug. Adults use it too. 75ml pressurised can.

Why a sterile mist

A pressurised can delivers a fine, even, non-burning spray with no pump to prime and no back-flow into the bottle, so the contents stay sterile to the last dose, which matters when the nose belongs to a baby. Buffering to the body's pH is what stops the sting that plain salt water can give.

How to use

Hold the child upright or on your lap with the head tilted slightly forward, insert the nozzle gently into one nostril and press briefly for a short mist; repeat for the other side, then wipe or aspirate. Use before feeds, before sleep and whenever the nose is blocked; adults can use it as often as needed.

Good to know

One can per person and wipe the nozzle after each use. Drug-free, so it's fine alongside any medicine and in pregnancy. If a baby is struggling to feed or breathe, or has a fever, see a GP or call 111. For toddlers from 1, see PediaMist.
