Product overview

About Migraleve

Britain's dedicated migraine painkiller since the 1960s: paracetamol and codeine for the pain, and in the pink tablets buclizine, an anti-sickness antihistamine, for the nausea that stops ordinary tablets staying down. This is the 12-tablet pack of Migraleve Pink, the attack-starter with the anti-sickness action built in. A pharmacy medicine for adults and children over 12, pharmacist-checked, one pack per order.

Who the 12 pack suits

Two pink tablets per attack means 12 covers six migraines — plenty for someone whose attacks are occasional, or for a first try of Migraleve to see whether the buclizine makes the difference it does for so many. Frequent sufferers buy the 24, but remember the three-day rule applies to every pack size.

How to take

Adults and children over 12: two pink tablets at the first sign of a migraine; if pain continues, switch to Migraleve Yellow every four hours rather than more pinks, per the pack. Codeine rules apply: three days' use only, and never more than the pack maximum. No other paracetamol or codeine products alongside.

Good to know

Codeine can cause addiction and, used regularly, rebound headache — the questionnaire asks about recent use and every order is capped at one pack. Frequent migraines deserve a GP conversation about prevention rather than more attack treatment. A headache unlike your usual migraine, or with weakness or vision loss, needs urgent medical help.
