Who the Complete 12 suits
The smaller Complete pack covers four migraines start to finish — two pinks at onset, then a pair of yellows if the pain runs on. It's the tidiest way to try the two-stage system, and the right size for occasional sufferers; the 24-pack Complete doubles it for those who know Migraleve works for them.
How to take
Adults and children over 12: two pink tablets at the first sign of an attack, then two yellow tablets every four hours if pain continues, up to the pack maximum. Codeine rules apply: three days' use only, and never more than the pack maximum. No other paracetamol or codeine products alongside.
Good to know
Codeine can cause addiction and, used regularly, rebound headache — the questionnaire asks about recent use and every order is capped at one pack. Frequent migraines deserve a GP conversation about prevention rather than more attack treatment. A headache unlike your usual migraine, or with weakness or vision loss, needs urgent medical help.

How do pink and yellow Migraleve differ?
Pink adds buclizine, an anti-sickness antihistamine, for the start of the attack. Yellow is paracetamol and codeine alone, for pain that continues after the pink dose.
Why only 3 days?
Codeine can cause dependence and rebound headache with regular use. Migraines that need codeine more often than that need a GP's prevention plan.
