About Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Blackcurrant
Max-strength paracetamol — a full 1000mg per sachet — with a decongestant, in hot blackcurrant for people who can't face another lemon. Effective relief for fever, headaches, body aches, blocked nose and sore throat. 10 sachets.
Why max strength earns its name
A standard paracetamol dose is two 500mg tablets; each of these sachets delivers exactly that in one hot drink. That's the ceiling dose done properly — which is also why the counting matters: nothing else with paracetamol in it alongside, and no more than 4 sachets a day.
How to take
Adults and children 16+: one sachet dissolved in hot (not boiling) water every 4–6 hours, maximum 4 sachets in 24 hours.
Good to know
No cough ingredient in this one — it's the pick when your problem is the feverish, achy, blocked-up misery rather than a chesty cough. Pair with rest and fluids; see a GP if symptoms persist beyond 3 weeks or fever stays high.
