Product overview

About Lemsip Max All in One Lemon

The whole rotten-cold experience answered in one hot lemon drink: paracetamol for the fever, headache and body aches, phenylephrine to unblock the nose, and guaifenesin to loosen a chesty cough. Six symptoms, one steaming mug. 8 sachets.

Why a hot drink format works

The medicine works the same in any form — but a hot drink soothes a raw throat on contact, steam helps a stuffy head, and making one forces you to sit down for ten minutes, which is frankly part of the treatment. There's a reason the mug of Lemsip is Britain's sick-day ritual.

How to take

Adults and children 16+: dissolve one sachet in a mug of hot (not boiling) water. One sachet every 4–6 hours, no more than 4 in 24 hours. Do not take with any other paracetamol product.

Good to know

Colds are viral — this treats the symptoms while your immune system does the curing, usually within a week. Fluids, rest and paracetamol genuinely are the treatment. Symptoms beyond 3 weeks, high persistent fever or chest pain deserve a GP.
