Product overview

About Kwells

The travel sickness tablet that works fast: Kwells is hyoscine hydrobromide, which blocks the inner-ear signals that make the brain sound the nausea alarm on boats, planes, coaches and winding roads. Taken 30 minutes before setting off it prevents sickness starting — and unlike most travel remedies it can still help once the journey has begun. Kwells Kids is the 150 microgram tablet made for children from age 4 — a whole tablet at the right dose, rather than halving an adult one. 12 tablets.

Why a children's tablet

Splitting adult tablets on a car seat is nobody's idea of a good start to a holiday. Kwells Kids gives a 4-to-10-year-old exactly one tablet, and over-10s two — sucked, chewed or swallowed, 30 minutes before setting off, or once the queasiness begins.

How to take

Children 4–10: one tablet 30 minutes before travel; children over 10: two tablets. Repeat after six hours if needed, up to three doses in 24 hours. Not for under-4s. Tablets can be sucked, chewed or swallowed. Leave at least six hours between doses and don't exceed three in 24 hours.

Good to know

Hyoscine can cause drowsiness, blurred vision and a dry mouth — fine for a passenger, not for the driver, and no alcohol on the trip. Not suitable with glaucoma, prostate or bladder problems, and the questionnaire checks. Pharmacist-reviewed before dispatch.
