Product overview
About Daktarin Powder
Miconazole in a medicated talc: the antifungal for the sweaty, folded, rubbing places where a cream won't stay put. Daktarin Powder treats athlete's foot, sweat rash under the breasts, in the groin and between the toes, and the bacteria that infect moist skin, and keeps the area dry so the fungus can't thrive. 20g dredger, pharmacy-only.
Powder or cream
Cream carries a higher dose and is the treatment for an established rash; powder is for damp skin folds, for finishing a course, and for prevention. The classic athlete's foot routine is cream on the skin twice a day and powder dusted into socks and shoes, so the fungus isn't waiting in the footwear when the course ends.
How to use
Wash and dry the area, then shake a light dusting over it twice a day, away from the face. Continue for ten days after the skin looks clear to stop it coming back. Dust into socks and shoes as well for athlete's foot.
Good to know
A talc powder shouldn't be breathed in: apply it low and gently, and never over a baby's head or chest. Keep away from the eyes. Tell the pharmacist if you take warfarin. No improvement after four weeks needs a pharmacist or GP. Pharmacist-reviewed before dispatch.
