How to give it
Shake the bottle well and use the syringe provided to measure the exact dose for your child's age from the pack — doses are at least 4 hours apart, and never more than 4 doses in 24 hours. For babies aged 2–3 months, check the specific guidance on the pack first. Don't give alongside any other paracetamol-containing medicine, and don't exceed the stated dose.
When to see a doctor
Speak to a GP or call 111 if your child's fever lasts more than 3 days, they're under 3 months with any fever, symptoms worsen, or your instinct says something's wrong — and seek urgent help for a rash that doesn't fade under a glass, difficulty breathing, or unusual drowsiness.
