About Beechams Powders

The original Beechams, unchanged in spirit since the Victorian pharmacy: a powder of aspirin and caffeine that dissolves in water for fast relief from the aches, pains, fever and heavy head of colds and flu. Ten sachets, adults and children 16 and over.

Why a powder

Dissolved aspirin is absorbed faster than a tablet, and the caffeine sharpens the painkilling effect while lifting the sluggishness a cold brings. It's the no-nonsense option for people who want their flu remedy to work quickly and don't need a decongestant.

How to take

Stir a sachet into a glass of water and drink; repeat as the pack directs, respecting the gap between doses and the daily maximum. Adults and children over 16 only.

Good to know

Aspirin rules apply: not under 16, and a pharmacist check with stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, aspirin-sensitive asthma, anticoagulants or pregnancy. Go easy on coffee while taking it. Not alongside other aspirin, ibuprofen or NSAID products.
