About Beechams Cold & Flu Hot Blackcurrant

The classic hot blackcurrant remedy: paracetamol and a decongestant in a warming drink for headache, fever, aches and pains, blocked nose and sore throat. Non-drowsy, and made by the name that's been treating British colds since 1848. 5 sachets.

The hot remedy ritual

A steaming blackcurrant drink soothes the throat immediately, the steam eases a stuffy head, and the ten minutes on the sofa with a mug does more good than people admit. The paracetamol and phenylephrine do the pharmacology; the ritual does the rest.

How to take

Adults and children 16+: one sachet in hot (not boiling) water every 4–6 hours, maximum 4 in 24 hours. Never alongside other paracetamol products.

Good to know

The 5-pack is the try-it or top-up size — enough for a day or two of a cold. Rest, fluids, and a GP only if things drag past 3 weeks or the fever won't break.
