About Beechams All In One Liquid
Beechams' whole-cold answer in one non-drowsy liquid: paracetamol for the headache, fever, sore throat and aches; guaifenesin to loosen chesty mucus; phenylephrine to open the blocked nose. One dose, five symptoms, no drowsiness — the bottle for powering through a cold rather than sleeping through it. 160ml.
Why all-in-one makes sense mid-cold
Colds rarely send symptoms one at a time. Rather than stacking a painkiller, a cough syrup and a decongestant (and accidentally double-dosing something), a combination formula doses everything once, correctly, together — with a measuring cup to keep it honest.
How to take
Adults and children 12+: 20ml every four hours as needed, up to four doses in 24 hours. Non-drowsy — fine for daytime. Never take other paracetamol products alongside.
Good to know
The paracetamol double-up rule is the one that matters: no Lemsip, no paracetamol tablets on top. Decongestant cautions apply — high blood pressure and heart conditions should ask the pharmacist first. Symptoms beyond a week, or a cough past three, deserve a GP.
