Beconase Hayfever Relief for Adults Beclometasone Nasal Spray - 180 Sprays

The big bottle of Beconase: 180 sprays of beclometasone, the steroid nasal spray that treats hayfever at the cause by calming the inflammation in the nose that pollen sets off. Eight-in-one relief: nasal congestion, sinus discomfort, runny nose, itchy nose, sneezing, and itchy, watery, red eyes. Non-drowsy, for adults 18 and over; the 180-spray size is the pharmacy pack, enough for six weeks at the full dose.

Antihistamine tablets block one chemical after the reaction has begun; a corticosteroid spray stops the whole inflammatory cascade in the lining of the nose, which is why it clears a blocked nose that tablets can't touch. Used every day, ideally from a week or two before the season starts, it prevents symptoms rather than chasing them.

Adults 18 and over: two sprays into each nostril morning and evening, no more than eight sprays a day. Shake, blow your nose, aim slightly outwards away from the middle of the nose. Full effect takes a few days of regular use, so don't judge it on day one; once symptoms are controlled, drop to the lowest dose that keeps them away.

Not for under-18s. Don't use continuously for more than three months without advice, or with a nasal infection or recent nose surgery.
