About Bazuka Extra Strength
Max-strength verruca and wart treatment: 26% w/w salicylic acid gel that paints on, dries into a water-resistant protective barrier, and works away at the wart once daily. The barrier does a second job — it's designed to inhibit the spread of the verruca/wart infection to other people and other parts of your own skin. 6g tube.
How wart treatment actually works
Salicylic acid softens and gradually removes the layers of hardened, virus-infected skin. It is a patience game: expect to keep going for up to 12 weeks, filing the softened surface gently between applications. Stopping early is why warts appear to “come back” — they were never fully gone.
How to use
Soak the area for a few minutes, dry, and file the surface gently. Paint the gel on and let it dry to a film. Once daily, peeling the film off before each new application.
Good to know
Not for the face or genitals, not on moles or birthmarks, and not if you have diabetes or poor circulation — ask the pharmacist instead. Verrucas spread in changing rooms and pools, so cover them with a plaster or verruca sock.
