Product overview

About Sudafed Plus Blocked Nose Spray

A decongestant that repairs as it clears: xylometazoline shrinks swollen nasal passages within minutes, while dexpanthenol — a pro-vitamin B5 — supports healing of the nasal lining that days of blowing have left raw. 80 metered sprays, ages 12+.

Why the dexpanthenol matters

Plain decongestant sprays clear the nose but do nothing for the sore, crusted lining a heavy cold leaves behind. Adding dexpanthenol means the spray that unblocks also helps the membrane recover — a genuinely useful pairing in the second half of a cold.

How to use

Adults and children 12+: one spray into each nostril up to three times daily. Maximum 7 consecutive days.

Good to know

The 7-day rule isn't small print — overusing decongestant sprays causes rebound congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa), a blocked nose caused by the spray itself. Seven days on, then stop; saline can carry on from there.
