Product overview
About Sudafed Day & Night Capsules
A head cold, managed around the clock: Sudafed's dual-capsule system pairs orange day capsules (paracetamol, phenylephrine and caffeine — clear head, clear nose, staying awake) with blue night capsules (the same relief minus the caffeine) so the cold is treated at 3pm and 3am on the right settings. 16 capsules.
Why day/night dosing makes sense
The caffeine that keeps a foggy head functional at lunch is precisely what you don't want at midnight. Splitting the formula lets you dose the same paracetamol-plus-decongestant relief without trading sleep for it — the same logic as Day & Night Nurse, in Sudafed colours.
How to take
Adults and children 16+: day capsules through the day, night capsules before bed, per the pack's schedule — never exceeding the combined daily paracetamol maximum, and never with other paracetamol products.
Good to know
Decongestant cautions apply: high blood pressure, heart disease and MAOIs need a pharmacist conversation first. Head colds outstaying a week, or sinus pain with fever, deserve a GP.

Frequently asked questions
What's actually different between the capsules?
Caffeine — day capsules include it to fight the fog; night capsules drop it so the same relief doesn't cost you sleep.
Can I take paracetamol tablets too?
No — both capsule types contain paracetamol. Count every source and never exceed the daily maximum.
Who should check before using?
Anyone with high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma or on MAOI antidepressants — the decongestant needs a pharmacist's OK.
