Product overview

About Sudafed Blocked Nose & Sinus Capsules

Sudafed's triple-action capsules take on the whole sinus-pressure picture: phenylephrine shrinks swollen nasal passages to unblock your nose, paracetamol relieves the sinus pain and headache, and caffeine sharpens the paracetamol while countering the cold-medicine fog. 16 capsules — day-friendly, non-drowsy congestion relief.

When sinuses are the problem

That heavy, face-ache pressure behind cheekbones and forehead is swollen sinus passages that can't drain. A decongestant opens the drainage routes while the painkiller handles the throb — attacking cause and symptom together, which single-ingredient painkillers can't.

How to take

Adults and children 12+: follow the pack dosing, spacing doses at least 4 hours apart, maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Swallow with water. Because of the caffeine, go easy on coffee alongside — and take the last dose well before bed.

The double-up warnings

This contains a full paracetamol dose — never combine with Lemsip, paracetamol tablets or other paracetamol remedies. And skip it if you're on blood pressure medication or have heart problems without a pharmacist's OK: decongestants raise blood pressure.
