About Strepsils Honey & Lemon

The original pharmacy lozenge: a double antiseptic — amylmetacresol with dichlorobenzyl alcohol — giving soothing, effective relief at the first signs of a sore throat, in the honey-and-lemon flavour that made Strepsils a household name. 24 lozenges.

Catching a sore throat early

The dual antiseptics act on the bacteria that complicate a raw throat while the dissolve itself — slow, warm, saliva-stimulating — soothes the scratch. Taken at the first tickle, they often keep a sore throat at nuisance level instead of misery level.

How to take

Adults and children 6+: dissolve one slowly every 2–3 hours as needed, within the pack maximum.

Good to know

A licensed medicine — which is what separates Strepsils from the sweets aisle. Viral throats settle in about a week; anything longer or fiercer deserves advice.
