About Strepsils Extra Triple Action Cherry
Strepsils' strongest formula in its cherry coat: hexylresorcinol lozenges that relieve throat pain with a genuine local-anaesthetic effect, fight infection with antiseptic action, and soothe as they dissolve. Same triple action as the blackcurrant — different berry. 24 lozenges.
What Extra does that sweets can't
Hexylresorcinol mildly numbs the raw throat lining while attacking the microbes on it — pain relief, antiseptic and demulcent soothing in one slow dissolve. It's the difference between masking a sore throat and treating one.
How to take
One lozenge dissolved slowly every 2–3 hours as needed — don't chew. Adults and children 12+, within the pack's daily maximum.
Good to know
Most sore throats are viral and pass within a week. High fever, white patches, trouble breathing or swallowing, or a week-plus throat — pharmacist or GP, please.
