About Otrivine Extra Dual Relief

For the cold that blocks *and* streams: Otrivine Extra pairs xylometazoline, which unblocks the swollen nose, with ipratropium, which turns down the tap on a running one. The only OTC spray tackling both at once, in a metered-dose mist. 10ml.

Blocked and runny at the same time — the worst combination

A heavy cold does both: swollen passages you can't breathe through, streaming mucus you can't stop. Single-action sprays fix one and ignore the other; the ipratropium here specifically reduces nasal secretions, which nothing else in the aisle does.

How to use

Adults 18+: one spray per nostril up to three times daily, maximum 7 consecutive days. May cause temporary nasal dryness — expected with ipratropium.

Good to know
