About Optrex ActiMist for Dry Eyes
Dry, tired, gritty screen-day eyes — rehydrated without drops: ActiMist sprays onto closed eyelids, where its liposomes migrate into the tear film's oily layer and repair the seal that stops your eyes' own moisture evaporating. Relief that lasts up to four hours, over make-up, over contact lenses, mid-meeting. 10ml.
Why dry eyes are usually a leak
Most dry eye isn't too little tear fluid — it's tears evaporating too fast through a broken lipid layer (screens make you blink less, which makes it worse). By fixing the oily seal rather than adding water, ActiMist tackles the actual mechanism — clinically proven, and far easier to use at a desk than drops.
How to use
Close your eyes, spray from about 10cm, once per eye, up to four times daily. Contact-lens and make-up friendly; lasts 6 months once opened.
Good to know
Pairs with screen breaks (20-20-20 rule) and blinking on purpose. Painful, light-sensitive or persistently red eyes are beyond dryness — see a pharmacist or optician.

Frequently asked questions
How does spraying closed eyes help dryness?
Liposomes travel from the lids into the tear film's lipid layer, repairing the seal that stops tears evaporating — addressing the most common cause of dry eye.
Screen work dries my eyes — will this help?
Yes — screen staring halves your blink rate and speeds evaporation. A spray mid-afternoon plus regular screen breaks is a solid desk-day routine.
Drops or spray?
Sprays win for convenience — no head-tilting, no smudged make-up, fine over lenses. Heavy or clinical dry eye may still want preservative-free drops; ask us.
