About Germoloids Suppositories
For internal piles, where a cream simply cannot reach. Each suppository delivers zinc oxide and lidocaine hydrochloride directly to the affected tissue inside — numbing and soothing itching, relieving pain fast, shrinking the piles and protecting against infection. 24 suppositories from Bayer.
Internal or external — they need different things
External piles respond to ointment applied to the skin. Internal ones sit above the anal margin, and no amount of cream on the outside will treat them properly. Suppositories put the medicine exactly where the problem is, which is why they often work when weeks of cream haven't.
How to use
Adults and children 12 and over: insert one suppository as directed, usually morning and night and after a bowel movement. Easier lying on your side with knees drawn up. Not for children under 12.
Good to know
See a doctor if there's no improvement within 7 days. And any rectal bleeding needs proper assessment — do not simply treat it and hope. Fibre, fluids and avoiding straining prevent recurrence better than anything in this box.

Frequently asked questions
Suppositories or ointment?
Ointment treats external piles; suppositories reach internal ones that a cream simply cannot. If weeks of cream haven't helped, this is usually why.
How do I use one comfortably?
Lying on your side with your knees drawn up makes insertion much easier. Usually morning, night and after a bowel movement.
How long before I see improvement?
Pain relief is quick. If there's no real improvement in 7 days, see your doctor.
