About Brulidine

Its active, dibromopropamidine isetionate, works against the bacteria that turn a small wound into an infected one, in a soothing cream base that's kind to sore skin. 25g.
Why keep an antiseptic cream
Most cuts and grazes heal themselves — the job of an antiseptic cream is to keep bacteria out while they do. Brulidine's antibacterial action covers the common skin organisms, and because it's gentle enough for nappy rash it suits babies' skin as well as gardeners' knuckles. One tube covers the household's scrapes.
How to use
Clean the area, then apply a thin layer of cream up to three times a day, covering with a dressing if needed. Wash hands before and after. Check the label for any age notes.
Good to know
For minor wounds only: deep cuts, large or blistering burns, animal bites and anything that looks infected (spreading redness, pus, heat, fever) need a pharmacist or GP. If a wound isn't improving after a week, get it looked at.
