How do I get a good seal?

Roll the plug thin, pull the top of your ear up and back, insert, and hold it in place for 20–30 seconds while it expands. If it pops out, roll tighter and try again.

How many times can I reuse a pair?

Several nights, as long as they're clean and still expand fully. Replace them once they're grubby or have lost their spring.

Will I still hear my alarm?

Usually yes — foam plugs reduce noise rather than eliminate it. Keep the alarm loud and close, or use a vibrating alarm if you're a deep sleeper.

How to use

With clean hands, roll the plug into a thin cylinder, pull the top of the ear gently up and back, insert, and hold for 20–30 seconds while the foam expands. Remove slowly with a twist. Replace when dirty or when they stop expanding fully.

Good to know

Not for use with an ear infection, discharge or pain, and don't push them in so far they're hard to remove. They reduce noise rather than eliminate it — you'll still hear an alarm.
