When an eye wash helps

Hay fever season, a dusty commute, DIY, swimming in chlorine, or eyelids crusted after a cold: the fix is often simply washing the irritant out. An eye bath lets you bathe the whole eye and lid margin properly, which a splash at the sink never does, and it soothes as it cleans.

How to use

Fill the eye bath, lean forward, press it around the eye, then tilt back and blink into the solution for a few seconds. Use fresh solution for each eye and rinse the bath after use. Follow the pack for how often to use it.

Good to know

Discard by the date-after-opening on the pack. Chemical splashes need copious running water and urgent medical advice — an eye wash is for everyday irritants. Pain, vision change or a red eye that won't settle is a same-day pharmacist or optician job.
