About AeroBan Cohesive Support Bandage
A cohesive bandage sticks to itself — not to skin or hair — which makes it the easiest support bandage to apply well: wrap, press, done. No clips, no tape, no wincing removal. AeroBan's is hypoallergenic, breathable and latex free, in a 5cm width that stretches to 4.5m — right for wrists, ankles, hands and elbows.
What it's for
Compression and support for sprains and strains, holding dressings in place, and securing ice packs. Because it grips itself in every direction, it stays put on awkward, mobile joints where ordinary bandages slide.
How to apply
Wrap from below the injury upwards with even, gentle stretch, overlapping each turn by half. Firm support, not tight: check fingers or toes stay warm and pink. Reusable a few times until the self-grip fades.
Good to know
For a sprain, remember RICE — rest, ice, compression, elevation — and see a doctor if you can't weight-bear, the joint looks deformed, or swelling is severe.

Frequently asked questions
What's a cohesive bandage?
One coated to stick to itself rather than to you — so it applies fast, stays put on mobile joints, and unwraps without pulling skin or hair. No clips or tape.
How tight should a support bandage be?
Firm, never tight: you should slide a finger underneath, and fingers or toes beyond it should stay warm and pink. Tingling or colour change means rewrap looser.
Is it reusable?
Yes, several times — the self-grip weakens gradually with reuse. Latex free, so safe for latex-allergic users.
When is a sprain more than a sprain?
If you can't put weight on it, the joint looks wrong, or pain and swelling are severe — that needs urgent care, not just a bandage.
