How the mouth spray helps you quit

Cravings can come on fast. The mouth spray is one of the quickest craving-relief options in NRT, so you can handle a sudden urge to smoke in about a minute, wherever you are — no chewing and nothing to prepare.

How to use

Point the nozzle at your open mouth, holding it close, and press to release one spray — avoid the lips. Don't breathe in as you spray, and don't swallow for a few seconds. Use one spray when you feel a craving; if it hasn't eased after a few minutes, use a second. Don't use more than 2 sprays per craving, 4 an hour, or 64 a day.

Is it safer than smoking?

Yes. The serious harm from smoking comes from the tar and carbon monoxide in cigarette smoke, not the nicotine. The spray gives you a clean, fast dose to help you stop.
