Product overview

About Nicorette Mint Lozenge 2mg

Nicorette Mint Lozenge 2mg is a sugar-free nicotine lozenge that helps you stop smoking by relieving cravings and withdrawal. You let it dissolve in your mouth — no chewing — and each lozenge gives a 2mg dose of nicotine to see off a craving discreetly. A smooth, cooling mint taste. This is the standard everyday size for working through your quit (80 lozenges).

How nicotine lozenges help you quit

Stopping smoking makes nicotine levels drop, triggering cravings and irritability. A lozenge tops up nicotine cleanly — without cigarette smoke — so the urge to smoke is easier to manage. NRT roughly doubles your chance of quitting for good.

2mg or 4mg — which strength?

Choose 2mg if you smoke 20 or fewer cigarettes a day, or your first cigarette is more than 30 minutes after waking. If you're unsure, ask our pharmacist.

How to use

Place one lozenge between your gum and cheek and let it dissolve slowly — don't chew it or swallow it whole. Move it to the other side of your mouth from time to time. It takes around 10–30 minutes. Use one whenever you feel a craving; most people use 8–12 a day and no more than 15.

Is nicotine safer than smoking?

Yes. The serious harm from smoking comes from the tar and carbon monoxide in the smoke, not the nicotine. A lozenge gives you a clean, measured dose to help you stop, which you then taper down.
