Why acrivastine

Cetirizine and loratadine are once-a-day preventers; acrivastine is the responder, quick in and quick out, which suits people whose allergies come and go with the pollen count, a visit to a house with a cat, or a flare of hives. It's low-drowsy and can be repeated up to three times a day.

How to take

Adults and children over 12, up to age 65: one capsule as needed, up to three times a day, swallowed with water. Not for under-12s or over-65s. Don't exceed three capsules in 24 hours.

Good to know

Acrivastine is cleared by the kidneys, so it isn't for anyone with kidney problems or over 65. It can cause drowsiness or dizziness in some people: take care driving, and avoid alcohol. Contains lactose. Ask a pharmacist first in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Pharmacist-reviewed before dispatch.
