Product overview
About Multi-Gyn ActiGel
ActiGel fights BV differently: its patented 2QR complex — a plant-derived polysaccharide from aloe — physically blocks harmful bacteria from adhering to tissue, reducing the odour and discharge of bacterial vaginosis while natural flora recover. A 50ml tube with applicator delivers around 25 doses for internal and external relief — treatment and prevention in one tube.
The anti-adhesion approach
Where lactic acid products re-acidify, 2QR neutralises the bacteria's grip — they can't colonise what they can't hold onto. The practical benefits: works internally and externally (helpful when irritation is outside too), suitable alongside other treatments, and the multi-dose tube makes maintenance after periods or sex economical.
How to use
Treatment: 5ml internally (applicator supplied) daily for five days. Prevention: every three days, or after sex and periods. External soothing: a little applied directly, as often as needed.
Good to know
Natural origin and hormone-free; usable in pregnancy per its labelling, though first episodes and pregnancy symptoms are still best GP-checked before self-care.

Frequently asked questions
How is ActiGel different from lactic acid gels?
Its 2QR complex stops harmful bacteria physically attaching to tissue rather than re-acidifying — a complementary mechanism. Both routes relieve BV; ActiGel adds external-use flexibility and a multi-dose tube.
How long is a treatment course?
5ml internally daily for five days, then every third day — or after periods and sex — for prevention. One tube covers the course plus weeks of maintenance.
Can I use it just for external irritation?
Yes — the same gel soothes external itch and irritation directly, which single-use internal applicator products can't do.
