Product overview
About Tampax Compak Super Plus
Tampax Compak are applicator tampons with a discreet, compact applicator that extends to full size when you need it — pocket-friendly until the moment it isn't. Super Plus is the 4-drop absorbency for heavy flow days, a step up from Super. 18 tampons per pack.
Why an applicator?
The smooth-tip applicator places the tampon at the right depth without contact — easier for beginners, cleaner in public loos, and more comfortable if insertion has ever put you off tampons. The Compak version telescopes down to half the size of a regular applicator, so it hides in the smallest pocket.
Using tampons safely
Use the lowest absorbency that lasts around 4 hours, change every 4–8 hours — never longer than 8 — and remove the last one when your period ends. Read the toxic shock syndrome (TSS) information in every pack. If Super Plus regularly soaks through in under 4 hours, talk to a GP about heavy bleeding.
Good to know
Applicator halves and wrappers go in the bin, not the toilet — as do the tampons themselves.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Super and Super Plus?
One absorbency step: Super Plus holds more, for heavy flow days. Use the lowest absorbency that comfortably lasts about 4 hours — going bigger than you need isn't safer.
What makes Compak different from regular Tampax?
The applicator telescopes to about half size for discretion, then extends to full length for insertion — same tampon inside, smaller thing to carry.
Can I sleep with a tampon in?
Yes, if it's fresh at bedtime and changed promptly when you wake, within the 8-hour limit. For longer sleeps, a night pad is the safer habit.
