Product overview
About Always Ultra Day Size 3
Always Ultra Day Size 3 are thin sanitary pads with wings, sized for heavy day flow. Ultra means the absorbency of a thick pad compressed into a slim profile — the 3× protection system pulls fluid into the core, locks it there, and keeps the surface dry. 9 winged pads per pack.
Thin doesn't mean less
The absorbent core turns liquid to gel, so a pad a few millimetres thick outperforms old-style thick pads — without the nappy feel. Wings anchor it to your underwear so it stays put through commutes, gym sessions and everything between changes.
Choosing your size
Always sizes run from 1 (light) upwards; Size 3 is the heavy-day pick — longer and more absorbent than Sizes 1–2. If you're changing more often than every few hours on your heaviest day, step up a size rather than doubling up.
Good to know
Change every 3–4 hours for freshness even when the pad isn't full, and bin rather than flush.

Frequently asked questions
What does Size 3 mean?
Always sizes pads by length and absorbency: Size 3 is the heavy-day option, longer and more absorbent than Sizes 1 and 2. Match the size to your flow, not your underwear.
Ultra or Maxi — what's the difference?
Same absorbency class, different feel: Ultra is thin because its core gels the fluid; Maxi is thick and cushiony. Protection is comparable — it's about what feels secure to you.
How often should I change a pad?
Every 3–4 hours on flow days, sooner when full. If Size 3 isn't lasting a couple of hours on your heaviest day, talk to a GP about heavy bleeding — it's common and treatable.
