Spread an even layer over clean, dry skin, leave it for the time stated on the pack (never longer), then remove it with the spatula and rinse the area thoroughly with water. Do a patch test 24 hours beforehand, and avoid broken, irritated or sunburnt skin.

Only use a Veet product specifically designed for the bikini or intimate area, following its instructions exactly, and never use an ordinary body cream on the genitals or any internal areas, as the skin there is very sensitive. Always patch test first and stop straight away if it stings or burns.

Veet hair removal cream contains ingredients that break down the keratin that makes up the hair, so the hair dissolves at the skin's surface and wipes away. Because it works at the surface rather than the root, it is painless but does not last as long as waxing.

As Veet removes hair at the surface, results usually last a few days to around a week - a little longer than shaving. The regrowth tends to feel softer than shaving stubble.

Follow the time on the specific pack, which is usually only a few minutes, and never leave it on longer than directed, as that can irritate or burn the skin. Check a small area first and remove it promptly if it feels uncomfortable.

Only use a Veet product made specifically for the face, not a body cream, as facial skin is more delicate - and keep it away from the eyes, eyebrows and any broken skin. Always patch test first, as the face is sensitive.
