How do you apply Regaine?
Apply the foam or solution directly to a dry scalp in the thinning area, using the stated amount (usually twice a day for the solution, or as directed for the foam), and wash your hands afterwards. Let it dry fully and do not wash your hair for a few hours.
Is Regaine (minoxidil) toxic to dogs and cats?
Yes - minoxidil is very toxic to pets, especially cats, and even a small amount licked from your hands, scalp or a spill can be dangerous. Keep it well out of reach, wash your hands after applying, and contact a vet immediately if a pet is exposed.
