Is OGX bad for your hair, or does it cause hair loss?
Some older OGX formulas contained DMDM hydantoin, a preservative that was the subject of complaints and legal claims about scalp irritation and hair shedding; OGX has since reformulated its products. Current products are made to normal cosmetic safety standards, but if you notice irritation or unusual shedding, stop using it and speak to a pharmacist or GP.
Is OGX sulfate-free?
Many OGX shampoos are labelled sulfate-free (free from SLS and SLES), though this varies across the range, so check the front of the specific bottle. Sulfate-free formulas are often preferred for colour-treated or drier hair.
How do you use OGX Argan Oil?
For the shampoo and conditioner, use them as normal in the shower; for the Argan Oil weightless oil, smooth a few drops through damp or dry lengths and ends to add shine and tame frizz, keeping it off the roots. A little goes a long way.
