What is Deep Relief gel used for?
Deep Relief is used for muscular and rheumatic pain, backache, sprains and strains. It combines ibuprofen, an anti-inflammatory, with cooling levomenthol for targeted relief.
Can you take paracetamol with Deep Relief gel?
Because Deep Relief is applied to the skin, only a small amount of ibuprofen is absorbed, and paracetamol is usually taken separately - but check with your pharmacist, especially if you also take ibuprofen tablets. Do not double up on the same anti-inflammatory.
Can I use Deep Relief gel while pregnant?
Ibuprofen-containing products, including gels, are generally not recommended in pregnancy, particularly from 20 weeks onwards. Speak to your pharmacist or GP before using Deep Relief if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Does Deep Relief gel work?
Many people find the combination of ibuprofen and cooling menthol helpful for localised muscle and joint pain. Follow the instructions and speak to a pharmacist if pain persists.
How often can I apply Deep Relief?
Apply a small amount to the affected area up to the number of times a day stated on the pack, and wash your hands afterwards. Do not use it on broken skin or under a dressing.
